Jamaica 2009 with Charlene and George ...

Jamaica has so much to offer – tropical beauty, outstanding beaches, wonderful food, friendly locals who speak English and you can even drink the water. We toured all the Sandals resorts while there which are wonderful ultra all-inclusive Adult only resorts. The service, food, and amenities were fabulous at all the resorts. We rented a car to facilitate moving from area to area. Starting in Ocho Rios – home to the famous Dunn’s River Falls – Beautiful falls in the tropical forest that you can climb along with guides and groups of tourists joining hands – lots of fun. We then headed around to Negril which is known for its spectacular miles and miles of white sand beaches and also dramatic cliffs by the sea where you can watch cliff divers. Wow! Next we were off to Whitehouse – really just a small town and the beautiful Sandals Whitehouse resort. Touring from there we went inland to another lovely falls – YS Falls and into the town of Middle Quarters where locals sell delicious peppered shrimp and other offerings on the side of the road.

Our last night was spent in Montego Bay. Every area and every resort had something special and different to offer. There is just too much to say to put it all down here - just let me know if you want any more details on either the resorts or Jamaica itself. We will definitely return to Jamaica Mon!
